This weekend see’s The Mullets take on in form Chessington & Hook Utd Utd at Mill Road in front of what the club hopes will be a bumper crowd.

With the combination of no Premier League fixtures, and an encouraging weather forecast, Craig Stuart’s men will be looking to bounce back from the last gap mid-week defeat to Infinity as we look to climb the league table.

After a disappointing start to the campaign, Glynn Stephens men have won three league games in a row and find themselves in a mid-table position, looking up rather than down.

The Mullets meanwhile have been pre occupied with Cup competitions in recent weeks, and Mullets Manager Craig Stuart is hoping to replicate what tomorrow’s opponents have achieved, and climb the table and back into play-off contention.

“It feels like we have not had a league home game in months, and I know the lads are chomping at the bit to get back out on the pitch in front of our home supporters and put on a show. It is good to be home.”

“Sometimes it is difficult being on the road week after week. We have had to put some miles in on the road – but what that has also done is allow the squad to spend some quality time together.”

“Chessington are going to be tough opponents. They are in excellent form, and will rightly come to Mill Road full of confidence – It is our job to establish our dominance early and dictate the pace of the game.”

“Although we have a squad that is full of energy, character and grit – we also have some extremely good technical footballers, and we intend to demonstrate that over the coming weeks.”

“It is a different type of pressure that we need to re-adjust to.”

“In the cup games against the likes of VCD, Guildford and Crowborough we have been the underdogs and have had nothing to lose – now we are back on home soil with league opponents, we are quiet rightly expected to perform and get points on the board.”

“Chessington are well organised, fit and will come for a high tempo, physical game – supporters may be in for a treat.”
