At just 23 years of age Brady has surpassed 120 first team appearances for the club over a period of 5 seasons – making him (alongside front man Harry Russell) one of the longest serving players at the club.

One thing that really stands out about the midfielder is the affinity he has for the club and supporters.

“Harry Russell and myself are pretty much part of the furniture at this point.”

“The thing I love about playing for Arundel FC is that it’s like a family.”

“The club is so good and loving towards everyone – the supporters always show their support, and if you have a bad game, they pick you up.”

“I have been coached by Joss since I was 5 years old, and him being at the club is massive for me.”

“What he brings out of me, I don’t know if anyone other coach would be able to do what he does. That’s just me being honest”

“I could not imagine playing anywhere else. I honestly love the place.”

Equally skilled across any of the front-line positions on the pitch, this season has also seen Liam take on a deeper role in the centre of the Mullets engine room – something which the fan favourite has embraced with open arms.

“This season I have played in all our attacking and roles – the only place I have not played is in the backline, but there is still time for that!

“I really like being able to play in a number of positions and being that utility man for the team.”

“My favourite position is the 10, but I am really enjoying playing in the 8 at the moment and helping us tick – as long as the team are being successful, I will play wherever the team needs me.”

The Mullets bounced back to winning ways last weekend with a hard fought 2-1 home victory against Reigate Priory, in an encounter which saw the team come from behind to secure three valuable points.

“It was great to get back out there last week and put a few things right.”

“It was a dog fight on a heavy pitch – but it was brilliant to get the win. We just need to crack on now.”

“I think we could have come out better in the first half – and that is something we need to work on massively.”

“In the second half we dominated and controlled the game for long periods – if we can do that from the off, that will put us in a really good position as the season progresses.”

This weekend see’s The Mullets travel to league strugglers Copthorne, who have shown in recent weeks that they have the potential to cause an upset with a stunning 3-2 home victory over play-off contenders Billinghurst.

“Copthorne wont roll over, and they will fancy the game on their own patch having beaten Billingshurst recently.”

“If we can start fast, be aggressive and impose our game on them quickly, then I think we have a good chance of picking up a result”

“There is certainly no room for complacency. It is a big game.”
