Richard Towers, after steering Arundel FC to ‘Premier League’ safety hands over his 1stteam manager job to his assistant Simon Hull due to work commitments. However, Richard will be assistant manager to Simon Hull,to retain consistency within the management team at the club.
Everyone at the club would like to thank Richard for all of his hard-work this season, and also wish Simon the best of luck for the coming 2018-19 season.
From The Bench - Simon Hull
I’m delighted to have been given the opportunity to Manage Arundel. It’s a wonderful Club with great people involved on and off the pitch.
It’s a challenge I’m really looking forward to and I hope we can put some smiles on the faces of the loyal supporters that back us week in week out.
Rich will still be around although work commitments may limit Rich’s time.
Rich’s invaluable experience and knowledge is something I will definitely be leveraging over the coming season. Rich has done a tremendous job at Arundel in his spells here and is greatly respected by all at the club.
I hope to add a couple of fresh faces to the exciting young squad we have here and play some expansive free flowing football when the opportunity permits.
I believe the experience of last season’s struggles will ultimately help the squad and strengthen us as a group.
We will all work hard as a group and aim to improve on this season and target a mid table or above finish and a decent cup run would be nice.
My playing career was based in Kent 25 years ago representing my County at youth level and later Bromley Fc.
